Local 4-H Gallops Into 2006 With a Herd of Activities

The Watauga County Equestrian 4-H Program has announced its club programs for 2006 and it wants community members to get involved. The club is dedicated to teaching youth responsibility, building character, leadership skills, and good citizenship. In the program, kids from ages five to nineteen can learn horsemanship skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship in a fun and supportive atmosphere. There are two sections of the club - junior (5-12-years-old) and senior (13-19-years-old).
