Broome-Kirk Gets Bulldozed

The End of an Era: ASU’s Broome-Kirk Gymnasium Gets Demolished

During the first week of May, bulldozers and workers converged on the 51-year-old Broome-Kirk Gymnasium on the campus of ASU to demolish the High Country landmark, making room for the new Wellborn Dining Hall. Once the debris has been cleared later this month, work will begin on the new $29 million dining hall, which ASU hopes to complete in 30 months.
