Report From the Inaugural Tater Hill Paragliding Open
Last week, the clouds and mountain tops of the High Country had some high-flying company as dozens of paragliders and hangliders took part in the inaugural Tater Hill Paragliding Open. Even though local pilots have been using Tater Hill for over 20 years for paragliding and hangliding, this year marked the first time that a competition took place among its peaks. Competitors came to the High Country from British Columbia, Wyoming, Costa Rica, Charlotte, Chile, California, Argentina, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado, Massachusetts and many points in between, courtesy of meet director Bubba Goodman. Local photographer Lynn Willis documented the high-flying action. [More of his photos]
