Mrs. USA State Pageant March 10
The 2007 Mrs. NC US state pageant will be held at Gaston College on Saturday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. The featured performer will be Nashville recording artist Jessica Campbell, a native of Catawba County.

A contestant’s workshop is scheduled for Sunday, February 18, at Simply Elegant on South Main Street in Belmont, N.C. Shannon Devine, Mrs. United States 2006-07 will be on hand to present her Devine Inspiration; Winning Tips focusing on preparations for interview, modeling, makeup, hair and wardrobe and winning through positive thinking and positive attitude
Devine s a graduate of Appalachian State University where she was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu National Honor Society, Alpha Phi International Sorority and the ASU Dance Team. She funded her education through the Miss America scholarship program. She is a former Teen Miss North Carolina and was recognized on the state level for her community service work with Hospice.
Devine said, “This program has changed my life forever; winning the title has opened doors of endless opportunities and a national platform to promote my goal of saving lives through organ donation.”
