High Country residents and students will have a chance to dress up and get down as the annual Winter Wonderland Gala, featuring the Chairmen of the Board, returns to Legends this Friday, February 23.
Advance tickets, which are available at the Plemmons Student Union desk, are $7 for students. Tickets are $9 on the night of the event for students and non-students.
In its ninth year, the Winter Wonderland Gala provides a chance for folks to dress up and enjoy a night out on the town with discounted dinner at a number of area establishments followed by hours of dancing at Legends on the campus of ASU. The dress for the occasion is semi-formal.
As always, the evening’s music will be provided by the one and only Chairmen of the Board. According to Legends Manager Randy Kelly, the band is the “number one beach music band in the world.” The Chairmen of the Board will be playing a nonstop set packed with shagging soul classics throughout the evening.
Those who purchase tickets in advance at the Student Union information desk will receive a special coupon redeemable at Casa Rustica, Daniel Boone Inn, Makoto’s, Pepper’s and Red Onion Café. Valid only on February 23, the coupon allows diners who buy one dinner entree at regular price to purchase a second entrée of equal or lesser value for half price.
Online orders will include the coupon in the printout. Patrons must present their Gala ticket and coupon, or their online ticket order confirmation, to receive the offer.
