Downtown Boone Development Association First Friday Art Crawl Set for May 4

Story by Sam Calhoun

Is it safe to say that winter is over? In the High Country, the answer is probably no, but chances are good that the weather will be pleasant for next week’s monthly Downtown Boone Development Association Art Crawl on Friday, May 4. So ditch the heavy coats, dust off those flip-flops and get ready for a night out in downtown Boone. Staring at 5:00 p.m. next Friday, downtown Boone shops, restaurants and art galleries will be alive with new art, friendly neighbors and free refreshments. Don’t miss this High Country tradition—it’s all free!
