Celebrating the Soldiers’ Return
The soldiers of the North Carolina National Guard 1451st Transportation Company returned to the High Country last weekend after spending more than one year in Iraq, and family, friends and well wishers gathered en masse at the Watauga High School gym on Sunday for a jubilant welcome-home ceremony. Watauga High School May 19
For the second consecutive year, the Western Youth Network and the Parent-to-Parent Family Support Network will join forces in presenting Kidstock V. On Saturday, May 19, the groups will take over the campus ofWatauga High School for a day of music, games,
