Parkway School’s Donna Raichle Chosen as Watauga County Teacher of the Year

 

Donna Raichle, seven-year physical education teacher at Parkway School in Deep Gap, was so engrossed with planning her field day itinerary and supervising the students playing basketball in the gym that she didn’t notice the 20 people descending on her with balloons, cameras and accolades last Friday. When she finally looked up, she realized that she had won the Watauga County Teacher of the Year awardand was all smiles. (Full Story)
