Drumming...Piping-Celtic! The Other Side of the Games
This weekend, from Thursday, July 12, to Sunday, July 15, Grandfather Mountain will welcome thousands of raving Scots to the 51st Highland Games.
While caber tosses, Celtic dancers, sheepherders and wrestlers will take their turns during the lush MacRae Meadows weekend, spirited Celtic guitar strumming and drum beating will nearly be a constant at one locale or another. (Full Story)
