Relay For Life 2008 Team Fundraisers
Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.
Watauga County's Relay For Life's 90+ teams are scheduling their team fundraisers to raise money for the American Cancer Society, culminating in the Relay For Life event at Watauga High School on Friday, June 20. All proceeds from these fundraisers benefit the American Cancer Society. For more info about any of the events, call the committee chair or team captain. Thursday, May 8—WHS Cosmetology Spa Day: From 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Watauga High School, the $15 charge includes a facial and a manicure and all proceeds benefit Relay For Life. Call 828-264-2407, ext. 220 for appointments; walk-ins also accepted.
Saturday, May 10—Aquacise-A-Thon: This fun, low-impact, high-energy water aerobics benefit will be held at the Watauga County Swim Complex from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. The donation is $20; register by Friday, May 2, and save $5. Registration on May 10 will begin at 7:30 a.m. and participants must be at least 16 years of age. Bring your bathing suit, towel and a friend.
