OBAMA WINS WATAUGA!
Still Blue—Obama, Hagan, Perdue Win in Watauga County
Late Tuesday night, a group of ASU students, ecstatic about Barack Obama’s win, gathered at Kidd Brewer, toppled a goalpost and then conducted an impromptu parade down King Street. At the news that Sen. Barack Obama was elected president of the United States, Heather Owens, 26, erupted into joyful screams, closing her eyes, clasping her hands together and lurching back and forth in excitement.
