Window World Supports Rainbow Center With $60,000 Donation
“Todd and I are fortunate and grateful to give back to organizations that help children in our community,” said Tammy.
Todd and Tammy donated $30,000 of their own money, and Window World matched the donation. Funds will be distributed over a period of three years and will be designated to help needy children served by the center’s programs.
Todd added, “While Window World is a national company, we have strong roots in Wilkes County, and we always want to give back to the people of Wilkes and the surrounding area. Window World, along with Window World Cares, feels privileged to share our success with charitable organizations that impact the lives and health of children in our community and nationally with partners like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Rainbow Center.”
RCCFS helps approximately 275 children and families per year through Residential Care or group homes, Family Counseling, Bridges Foster Care, High Country First in Families, and the High Country Academy day treatment programs.
“We are beyond thrilled to receive this donation from Window World. This gift helps vulnerable children heal and cope with the sadness that has occurred during their young lives. It will truly make a difference for many who are hurting because of circumstances beyond their control,” said RCCFS Campaign Chair John Matthews.
Serving an at-risk population in Northwestern North Carolina, the center strives to help children develop as individuals and families as a whole to succeed through a full spectrum of human services for the betterment of themselves and the community.
Headquartered in Wilkes County, Window World is the largest replacement window company in the United States with more than 200 stores in 46 states. For more information about Window World or Window World Cares, click to www.windowworldcares.com.
