The presidential inauguration of Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States, will take place on Tuesday, January 20. 10:00 a.m. Preliminary Festivities
11:30 a.m. Call to Order and Welcoming Remarks—Sen. Dianne Feinstein will give call to order and welcoming remarks. Vice President Joe Biden will be sworn in.
12:00 p.m. Oath of Office and Inaugural Address—Barack Obama will take the oath of office and deliver his inaugural address.
1:00 p.m. Inaugural Luncheon
2:00 p.m. Inaugural Parade—Parade makes its way down Pennsylvania Avenue from the Capitol to the White House.
