Rail Jam at Lees-McRae January 31
Grab your board and dress in your most vintage ski gear for the Rail Jam at Lees-McRae College, presented by Edge of the World, Extreme Snowboard and Ski, Ski Beech and Lees-McRae College and hosted by Beta Omega Kappa with help from Campus Recreation. The event takes place on Saturday, January 31, at the Nebel Green.
The event has been rescheduled from December 11, when it was canceled because of the weather and conditions.
The Rail Jam features contests, live music, food, a bonfire and giveaways. For participants in the board contests, the entry fee is $15, registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and practice is from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. The competition begins at 12:00 p.m.
The Nebel Green is located at the front campus of Lees-McRae College between Tate and Avery halls and McDonald Dining Hall. For more information, call 1-800-SUX-EDGE.
