Angel Food Available at Three Watauga Churches—Orders Due February 16
Three Watauga County churches are host sites for Angel Food Ministries, “a food ministry with a servant’s heart.” Participants may purchase a box of food valued at $60 to $70 for the low price of $30. Additional specials are available each month for $15 to $28 dollars. The boxes feature frozen meats, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, and staple items.
Angel Food has
• No membership
• No qualifying income limits
• No applications
• No limit to the number of boxes you may order
You can pay for Angel Food orders with cash, check, money order, or EBT food stamps.
Orders for February are due by noon on Monday, February 16. Pickup is Saturday, February 21, at each church from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

For just $30, you can purchase a box of food valued at $60 to $70. Here’s what’s in the February box:
1.5 pounds sirloin steak (four 6-ounce steaks)
2 pounds tray pack chicken breast
1 pound boneless pork chops
2 pounds breaded chicken nuggets
28 ounces Salisbury steak entrée
12 ounces sliced bacon
1 pound all-meat hot dogs
1 pound stir fry (broccoli, red peppers and onions)
1 pound carrots
8 ounces breakfast cereal
32 ounces 2% shelf-stable milk
35 ounces crinkle-cut fries
7.25 ounces mac ‘n cheese
1 pound rice
1 pound bean soup mix

February Senior Box—$28
All ten of these individual meals are fully cooked and labeled and come with heating instructions. All you have to do is heat and serve. Each meal has no added sodium, is low in fat and is nutritionally balanced for seniors with 3 ounces of protein, two vegetables or fruit and a starch.

- Creamy chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with corn and Capri blend vegetables
