Off-Broadway Production of Footloose in Wilkes February 27

In 1984, the movie Footloose, starring Kevin Bacon, captured the heart of America and has since remained a classic film that new audiences discover year after year. As part of its 25th Anniversary Season, The Walker Center at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro presents the Broadway version of the classic film on Friday, February 27, at 8:00 p.m.
The show’s classic ‘80s hits include “Holding Out for a Hero,” “Almost Paradise,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” and of course, the unforgettable “Footloose!”
Tickets to the Walker Center performance are $39 for adults and $38 for seniors, students and children. Concertgoers can also attend a dinner before the show in The Walker Center’s Lakey Ballroom. Advance reservations are required for the 6:30 p.m. dinner that costs $18 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
