ASU Hosts 10th Annual Battle of the Bands at Legends April 1
Any time you get bands together in the same room, you can bet the musicians are sizing each other up. From the guitars and gear to the kind of jeans and shoes the lead singer is wearing, bands can’t help but feel a hint of competitiveness when it comes time to hit the stage. And that is bands’ battle for supremacy.
On Wednesday, April 1, Legends will host the Appalachian Popular Programming Society’s Battle of the Bands. The show will start at 9:00 p.m., and there is a $3 cover charge.
Bands slated to compete in this year’s contest include Due Euphoria, Doc Aquatic, Four People and Coffey Street. The winning band will take home a $250 cash prize and will earn the right to either open for a bigger band at Legends or perform their own headlining show at the ASU venue. The band will also be entered into a national battle of the bands competition, where they will compete for a recording contract.
