Feature Photo—Messer Awarded the John W. Harris Leadership Award
Mabel School 7th grader Jenna Messer was recently awarded the John W. Harris Leadership Award from the National Junior Beta Club. Each year, the club recognizes 25 Junior Beta members as John W. Harris Leadership Award winners. This prestigious award, the club’s highest honor, is presented to individuals who exemplify the best of what Beta stands for. Messer was nominated based on her enthusiasm for Beta Club, as well as her academic performance. She will be featured in the Beta Journal and will have the opportunity to attend the Broyhill Leadership Conference this summer. Photo submitted
