Feature Photo—Spring Snowfall
It’s hard to tell which was more surprised by the spring snowfall this week—the recently bloomed daffodils or High Country residents. After enjoying a weekend with above normal temperatures, early spring flora and locals could only watch as their weather did a U-turn on Monday and Tuesday when two to nine inches of snow fell across the region. The last time the High Country saw this much snow in April was exactly two years ago to the date—April 7, 2007. Photo by Ken Ketchie
