Feature Photo—O.A.S.I.S. Teams With Panera Bread To Fight Child Abuse
April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and local nonprofit O.A.S.I.S. is teaming up with Panera Bread of Boone to raise money for people affected locally by child abuse. During the month of April, Panera will donate 25 cents for every blueberry bagel and 50 cents for every blueberry muffin sold. According to O.A.S.I.S. Executive Director Jennifer Herman, funds raised by the partnership will go toward children’s services and abuse prevention programs.
