Boone Business Expo at Boone Mall May 14
The annual Boone Business Expo will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Boone Mall. The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event.
“It’s a great opportunity to see what’s happening in the business community in the High Country,” said Dan Meyer, president of the Boone Chamber.
Around 70 businesses have signed up to have booths at the event as of Wednesday, Meyer said. The booths include for-profit and nonprofit members of the chamber, as well as any non-chamber members who pay a fee for a booth. The event allows businesses to showcase their goods and services to the public and network with other businesses in the community.
“It’s for businesses to be able to highlight their good sand services and interact with community,” Meyer said. “It’s not a selling show—nothing is being sold.”
Attendees can also enjoy refreshments and sign up for a door prize drawing.
