Watauga Relay For Life Adds More May Fundraisers
Until the Watauga Relay For Life event in June, local Relay teams will continue to host a variety of fundraisers throughout Watauga County. From yard sales and sales of baked goods, to talent shows, T-shirts and pancake dinners, Watauga Relay teams are doing their best to raise both money and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

Hardin Park Volleyball Tournament
Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2
The Hardin Park Volleyball Tournament will take place at Cove Creek School gym on Friday, May 1, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 2, at 9:45 a.m. The cost is $10 per person. Strike For Life Bowling Tournament

From Sunday to Friday, May 3 to 8, Team Joyce’s Memory Walkers will sponsor the annual Strike For Life Bowling Tournament at Boone Bowling Center from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The $20 per person entry fee covers two games of Scotch Doubles, shoe rental, food and drinks. Purchase a luminaria for $10 in honor or in memory of someone with cancer. Luminaria will be lit all night on June 20 at Watauga County’s Relay For Life at Watauga High School.
