Want To Lower Your Food Bill?
Laurel Springs Baptist Church, Greenway Baptist Church and Boone United Methodist Church are host sites for Angel Food Ministries, “a food ministry with a servant’s heart.” Angel Food offers a box of food valued at $60 to $70 for the low price of $30, a senior box with prepackaged meals for $28, an allergen-free box and a new seafood box, as well as specials each month for $18 to $23 dollars each. The boxes feature frozen meats, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables and staple items. The Angel Food menu is available online at www.laurelspringsbaptist.com or www.angelfood.com.
Anyone can purchase food from Angel Food. The program has no membership, no qualifying income limits, no applications and no limit to the number of boxes you can order.
Angel Food orders can be paid for with cash, check, money order or EBT food stamps. Credit cards and debit cards are also accepted. Orders using credit or debit can be placed online at www.angelfood.com
Orders are taken the first two weeks of each month, and delivery is usually on the third Saturday of the month. Food must be picked up at the site where it was ordered.
