7th Annual Pagan Wilderness Weekend June 25 to 28 in Booneville
The 7th annual Pagan Wilderness Weekend will take place from Thursday to Sunday, June 25 to 28, at Elchenburg Castle/Triplette Farm just outside of Elkin in Boonville. This year, organizers will continue with the theme ‘It Takes a Village...’ and will also add a fourth day to the annual gathering. People of all ages are encouraged to camp for a weekend in Avondale Village, enjoy drumming, workshops, vendors, rituals, fellowship and family-friendly fun.
North Carolina Pagan Outdoors, whose mission statement is “Promoting Family Bonds Within the Pagan Community”, sponsors the event.
The cost to attend the event is $35 for those ages 17 and over, $20 for those ages 12 to 16 and free for attendees under 12. The price includes a Saturday morning fruit and grain breakfast. There is an additional cost of $5 per person for the Saturday night feast. Special family and day rates are also available.
