Lees-McRae College Announces Summer Pool Hours
The Rhea-Lyons Swimming Pool at Lees-McRae College is open to the public.
Lees-McRae College invites the community to beat the heat this summer in the Rhea-Lyons Swimming Pool at Lees-McRae College. The pool is open to the public Monday through Saturday during the month of June and Monday through Friday during the month of July.
Throughout June the pool is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon for lap swim and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. for open swim. Tuesday and Thursday hours are as follows: 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. for lap swim; 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. for water fitness; 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for lap swim; and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. for open swim. Swim lessons are offered on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by open swim from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. During July, the hours remain the same with the exception of Saturdays when the pool will be closed.
The pool will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Fourth of July holiday and Monday, July 13, for maintenance. Operating hours for August will be announced later in the summer.
The Rhea-Lyons Swimming Pool is located in the back of Williams Gymnasium off Hickory Nut Gap Road on the Lees-McRae College campus. Admission to the pool is $1.
