Feature Photo: Blowing Rock School’s Robotics Competition Team Captures Second Place
The Blowing Rock School’s Robotics Competition team, the Ice Breakers, recently won second place at the Blue Ridge Robotics Championship held in Boone last week. Competing against teams from Wilkes, Watauga and Caldwell counties, the Ice Breakers designed, built and programmed a robot to solve a series of challenges. Earlier this year, the Ice Breakers won the Judges’ Award at the N.C. State Robotics Championship held in Greensboro. Photo submitted
