An estimated 2,000 team members, volunteers, survivors and participants of all ages descended on the Watauga High School campus last Friday and Saturday to celebrate, remember and fight back at the 15th annual Watauga County Relay For Life. This year marks Relay’s 25th anniversary. So far, organizers have collected more than $201,000 in the fight against cancer and will continue to accept donations for this year’s fundraising campaign through the end of August.
