DIY Network’s Disaster House Looking for Local Participants
New Show Debuts This Winter on Cable Network
One of DIY (Do It Yourself) Network’s newest weekly series, “Disaster House,” is currently searching Boone and the High Country to find surprising and unique home disasters.
The show’s producers are currently looking for local homeowners who have experienced a surprising or unusual home disaster, have photos and/or videos of that disaster and are willing to share their story on a phone interview. Homeowners who would like to be considered for the program can call Chad Swift at 303-712-3267 or email cswift@highnoonentertainment.com.
“Disaster House” kicks off its first season on DIY Network this winter and each half-hour episode includes simulations of accidental or natural catastrophes done to a specially built disaster house based in Denver, Colo. The show’s hosts then bring in a construction expert to demonstrate to viewers the best way to repair the damage. Each episode also features a Disaster of the Week, which showcases a homeowner’s personal story of an unusual disaster in his or her own home.
High Noon Entertainment in Denver, Colo., produces the show for DIY Network. To learn more about High Noon Entertainment, click to www.highnoonentertainment.com.
