Record Turnout for MusicFest ‘N Sugar Grove
Record crowds of nearly 4,000 roots music lovers flocked to the Historic Cove Creek School last Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11, for the 12th annual MusicFest ‘N Sugar Grove to hear Doc Watson, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, the Kruger Brothers and many more. Funds raised at the festival support the Cove Creek Preservation & Development organization, which maintains the beauty of the historic community. Funds from the festival also support the Doc & Rosa Lee Watson Scholarship Fund for ASU’s Sustainable Development Program. Photo by Ken Ketchie
