Hospitality House Hosts Inaugural Seersucker & Sundress Cocktail August 8
Event at Meadowbrook Inn Benefits Nonprofit
N.C. Mountain Boys and Girls announce the inaugural Seersucker and Sundress Cocktail, an event benefiting Hospitality House, on Saturday, August 8, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to help with the efforts of Hospitality House,” said Greg Jung, group coordinator for N.C. Mountain Boys and Girls. “Many residents and visitors of the area don’t realize that there are over 1,000 homeless individuals on a given night in the seven mountain counties that Hospitality House serves. We are hoping that this event will help raise awareness as well as funds to assist the mission of Hospitality House.”
Guests are encouraged to dress in seersucker attire for men and sundresses for women.
Tickets cost $35 per person and can be purchased in person at Meadowbrook Inn, located at 711 Main Street in Blowing Rock, or by clicking to at www.seersuckerandsundress.com. Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Hospitality House.
