K-9s in Flight—Frisbee Dogs at Tweetsie August 1 to 9

The K-9s in Flight Frisbee Dogs will perform at Tweetsie Railroad Saturday, August 1, through Sunday, August 9.

Come see the K-9s in Flight Frisbee Dogs run, jump, flip and dive as they dazzle the crowd at Tweetsie Railroad. Audiences of all ages will be entertained for nine exciting days by this non-stop, action-packed performance showcasing an entire team of dogs in acrobatic freestyle routines.

From Saturday, August 1, to Sunday, August 9, John Misita’s entourage of incredibly talented, amazingly athletic canine friends will perform at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily for Tweetsie guests. The K-9s in Flight Frisbee Dogs performance is included in the regular admission prices to Tweetsie Railroad.

Whether snatching flying discs out of the air during a back flip, dock diving or taking a running leap off Misita’s back, the team exemplifies the pinnacle of precision dog training. Having traveled across the country, these dogs have performed at halftime shows, on television programs and at a variety of other public events.  

Misita and his group of trainers and dogs not only entertain, but also educate people about pet adoption, pet care and how proper nutrition and training can bring out the best in any dog, at any life stage. Most of the canine stars in the show are “rescue dogs” recovered from city pounds and animal shelters.

The park’s regular hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Daily admission is $30 for adults and $22 for children ages 3 through 12. Children 2 and under are admitted free. Print at home tickets are available at www.tweetsie.com.
