ASU Football Single-Game Tickets On Sale August 5
Season Tickets, ECU Tickets Still Available

If you can only make it to one or two ASU football games this fall, your chances of getting a seat are better than last year. Athletic Ticket Director Steve White said that plenty of single-game tickets will be available when they go on sale to the public at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5.
“We will have plenty to sell,” White said.
Until then, season tickets are still available. Mountaineer fans can purchase full season tickets for $160, with discounts for seniors, ASU faculty and staff and youth. Mini-season ticket packages are available for $80 with discounts for youth.
“Both the full six-game season ticket package and the three-game mini packages are available with good seats remaining,” said White.
Season ticket sales are down from the record-breaking 2008 season, when sales saw a 90 percent increase.
“We certainly anticipated that we would be off last year’s record numbers due in large part to the economic situation many folks across the state are facing,” White said. “Sales were a little sluggish in the early part of the renewal period but have gradually picked up in the past four weeks.”
But, White adds, “We are still well above where we were in 2007 in terms of season ticket sales.”
The new Kidd Brewer Stadium Complex on the west side of the stadium will be completed this year. The complex includes 18 luxury suites and 600 Yosef Club seats, increasing the stadium’s total seating capacity to 21,650. White said some club seats and a few suites are still available—interested parties should contact the Yosef Club at 828-262-3108.
When single-game tickets went on sale last year, the few remaining reserved seats went fast, with some games selling out of seats in a matter of hours. However, the ASU ticket office will continue to sell standing-room-only tickets once all seats are sold, which allow fans to sit on the grassy hill at the south endzone or at any other available spot they can find.
Only one game—the Halloween night meeting of ASU and Wofford—was deemed an official sellout in 2008, with a reported attendance of 30,931.
Single-game ticket prices remain the same this year at $27 for adults and $17 for youth.
Thus far, ASU’s allotment of tickets to the away game at East Carolina University in Greenville have been made available only to season ticket holders.
“We used it as an incentive to drive season ticket sales, and it has been very effective,” White said.
However, some ECU tickets are still available, and if the full allotment is not sold to season ticket holders, they will be made available to the general public when single-game tickets go on sale on August 5. The ECU tickets are $40 each.
