Paragliders take to the air during the 4th annual Tater Hill Open, a paragliding and hang gliding competition that took place from Sunday, July 26, to Saturday, August 1. The event was open to all H2 or P2 and above pilots and was sponsored by local businesses and hosted by Bubba Goodman, meet director and Tater Mountain landowner. The meet is the largest paragliding event on the East Coast, Goodman said. World champion paragliding and hang gliding pilot Kari Castle taught a clinic as part of this year’s event.
