High Country Hospice Announces Inaugural Fall Ball September 19
Only 100 Tickets Available

High Country Healthcare System Hospice is preparing for its inaugural Fall Ball fundraiser, planned for Saturday, September 19, at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Candice Cook, director of marketing for High Country Hospice, said the Fall Ball is a chance to raise money for Hospice patient care, while offering an enjoyable evening for supporters.
The Fall Ball will be the first nonprofit event held in the new Evergreen Room at Chetola Resort. A sit down dinner will be served, followed by a live auction, a band and dancing. A silent auction, with a new twist, will also take place.
Tickets for the event cost $100 each, and a table sits eight people.
“It is going to be a fun event and we only have a little over 100 tickets, so if you would like to attend you should purchase your tickets soon,” said Cook. Tickets can be purchased by clicking to www.highcountryhospice.org or by stopping by the High Country Hospice office, located at 136 Furman Road, Suite 4 in Boone. Sponsorships and item donations are still needed to make the event a success, said Cook. All donated items are tax deductible. To donate to the Fall Ball, or volunteer, call Cook at 828-265-9443.
High Country Healthcare System Hospice serves the terminally ill and their families in Watauga, Ashe and Alleghany counties.
