4th Annual Hospitality House Food and Shelter for Hope Luncheon Thursday
Join Hospitality House for an informative, free luncheon this Thursday, August 20, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Broyhill Inn & Conference Center in Boone. Guests will learn about homelessness in the High Country and how Hospitality House is helping people rebuild their lives.
“The luncheon is a great opportunity for the community to learn more about our agency,” said Lynne Mason, executive director. “We hope people will take this opportunity to get to know more about Hospitality House and the work we are doing in the community.”
In celebration of 24 years of service to the homeless in the High Country, representatives from Hospitality House plan to educate guests about the history, current programs and services and future goals of the agency. There will also be news unveiled about the combined campaign and new facility.
Attendees will hear testimonials from past residents of the program—from people who came to Hospitality House in crisis situations at what could have been the lowest point in their lives. With determination, they each worked diligently with staff that helped them become successful members of the community again.
To attend, RSVP by calling Jill Kuykendall Landers, director of development, at 828-262-3461.
