ASU Football Fan Fest Saturday
Meet the latest incarnation of Yosef at the ASU Football Fan Fest on Saturday, August 22, at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Meet the current and future stars of ASU football on Saturday, August 22, at Fan Fest—an annual free event held at Kidd Brewer Stadium. Fan Fest provides football fans young and old the opportunity to interact with the team before a new season begins.
From 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., Mountaineer players and coaches will be available for autographs and photos on the stadium field. Players rotate through the autograph area in 15-minute segments, so listen up to get in line for your favorite athlete.
Kids will enjoy inflatable rides and face painting by the ASU cheerleaders. Fans will also get to meet the new Yosef mascot updated for 2009 and purchase uniforms, travel gear and other ASU football merchandise.
At 6:00 p.m., the Mountaineers will hold their final intrasquad scrimmage before the Saturday, September 5, season opener at East Carolina. The ASU Marching Band, North Carolina’s Band of Distinction, returns to the event this year to perform its gameday hits during the scrimmage.
An estimated 10,000 fans attended Fan Fest in 2008.
Because of student move-in, parking will likely be limited in lots located adjacent to Kidd Brewer Stadium, including the Stadium Lot. Those attending Fan Fest are urged to park in the Raley Lot, Rivers Street Parking Deck or Rivers Street bike lanes.
