In just a few short years, Hank Williams, Sr. transformed country music—almost singlehandedly setting the agenda for contemporary country song craft, according to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The Greater Avery Tour de Art takes place at 12 participating galleries and studios in the Foscoe, Banner Elk, Linville and greater Avery County areas on the fourth Saturday each month through October. Hours this Saturday, August 22, are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
