Local Family Competes on “Family Feud” Thursday
The Banner family knows whether it won or lost on “Family Feud,” but this week the rest of the High Country will learn the results, too.
Family members Mitzi Bunton and her sister Tina Casner, along with their husbands, George Bunton and Kenny Casner, and the Casners’ daughter, 18-year-old Kassie, recently filmed an episode of the popular game show in Hollywood.
The episode will air at 6:00 p.m. this Thursday, September 17, on Charlotte’s WMYT TV 12. The show will appear on Charter Cable channel 15, DirectTV channels 55 or 928, Dish Network channels 55 or 8654 and Time Warner’s digital channels 255 and 256.
Mitzi Bunton said the show would likely re-air in December and January.
“I’ve loved that game show forever,” she said. “When we were younger, we always watched that game show and sit in the living room and play it.”
The family auditioned for the show in Charlotte and then auditioned again when they arrived in Hollywood.
“We had to prove that we could play again—on set,” George Bunton said.
Now, we all get to see if the Banner family can play the “Feud.”
