A Peek Ahead
Faculty Recital Series To Benefit Hospitality House October 6
The Hayes School of Music at ASU highlights six music concerts each year performed by members of the school’s renowned and talented faculty as part of the Faculty Recital Series.
In the 2009-10 academic year, the Hayes School of Music will accept donations at each of the Faculty Recital Series concerts to benefit a local nonprofit organization.
The second recital in the series on Tuesday, October 6, will feature violinist Dr. Nancy Bargerstock and pianist Dr. Rodney Reynerson in a program including works by Brahms, Kreisler, Janacek and Terzakis. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. at Rosen Concert Hall.
The nonprofit designated to receive the donations generated from this program is the Hospitality House. The Hospitality House is a private, nonprofit crisis intervention agency that assists adults and families in homeless situations in rebuilding their lives.
