Festival of the Frescoes October 10
George Hamilton IV Performs October 11
The Festival of the Frescoes provides an opportunity for the public to view “The Last Supper,” a fresco painting by Ben Long, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Glendale Springs.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church combines fall festival with fine art for its annual Festival of the Frescoes, happening this year on Saturday, October 10, at the church in Glendale Springs. The festival lasts from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The church invites the High Country community to view its beautiful fresco painting “The Last Supper” by artist Ben Long. The church will be open for fresco viewing throughout the day.
Across the street at the Mission House grounds, the festival includes a silent auction, a bake sale, live entertainment, kids’ activities and plenty of food. The men of the church will prepare and serve chicken, hot dogs, chili and drinks.
On Sunday, October 11, George Hamilton IV will perform two benefit concerts to support the Frescoes Foundation at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity’s sister church, St. Mary’s in West Jefferson.
