“Family Feud” Featuring Local Family Re-Airs in December
Banner Family Keeping Mum About Show’s Result
The episode of the popular game show “Family Feud” that features the Banner family will re-air in December on a host of local television stations.
A late time change made it tough for a lot of High Country viewers to see a recent “Family Feud” episode with a family of local contestants.
Family members Mitzi Bunton and her sister Tina Casner, along with their husbands, George Bunton and Kenny Casner, and the Casners’ daughter, 18-year-old Kassie, recently filmed an episode of the popular game show in Hollywood.
They used the sisters’ maiden name of “Banner” as the family name.
The show was supposed to air on September 17 at 6:00 p.m., but instead aired three hours earlier.
Mitzi Bunton said the episode is scheduled to air again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, on Charlotte’s WMYT TV 12. The show will appear on Charter Cable channel 15, DirectTV channels 55 or 928, Dish Network channels 55 or 8654 and Time Warner’s digital channels 255 and 256.
Bunton didn’t want to tell the outcome of the show because so many people didn’t get to watch it.
The show is supposed to air again at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2010, on the same stations.
