Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band will be back in Boone this Thursday, October 29, for a performance at Legends on the ASU campus. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. and the cover is $6 for students in advance and $8 for day-of and guest tickets.
The Booty Band got its start in Boone in 2002, and is back in town after touring around the nation. University students can purchase tickets at the information desk in ASU’s Plemmons Student Union or at Legends on the night of the event.
The band will be returning to the High Country with their typical high-energy performance featuring a blend of reggae and funk music.
Because the Booty Band will sometimes add colorful costumes to their stage presence, the show aligns perfectly with getting an early start to the Halloween weekend.
Interactive stage personalities are also something that crowds love about the Booty Band’s performances. The band loves to put on shows that involve the audience, creating a better experience for everyone involved. “Don’t expect your feet to get any rest,” said the band’s website.
According to the band’s website, “Adding colorful costumes and interactive stage personalities is just part of the show. . . Booty Band brings the funk!”
