Family Photo Shoot at The Children’s Playhouse Saturday and Sunday
Photographers Maggie Farrington, Savannah Strickland, Eli Morgan, Kristian Jackson and Kayla Morton have volunteered their time to offer a low cost photo session at The Children’s Playhouse this Saturday and Sunday. Here is a chance to get professional pictures taken of your family or your child at your favorite play place—The Children’s Playhouse. Four professional photographers have volunteered their time to offer a low cost photo session at The Children’s Playhouse from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Saturday, November 7, and from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. this Sunday, November 8.
Organizer Laura Newmark explained, “For $30 you will get a 30-minute photo session and a copyright free CD with all the pictures. For an additional $10, you can also get your choice of one 8x10 or a page of wallets.”
Families will have a choice to either pose against a background or let the photographers follow their children as they play. “We are looking forward to some great family ball pit pictures!” said Playhouse Director Kathy Parham. Christmas-themed props and background will also be available, noted volunteer Ali Satterwhite. All proceeds benefit The Children’s Playhouse. About The Children’s Playhouse
Situated at 400 Tracy Circle near downtown Boone, nonprofit children’s museum The Children’s Playhouse provides children from birth to age eight with an enriching play environment while at the same time offering their parents friendly support in the important job of raising children. Daily admission to The Playhouse is $5 per person over age 1. A Playhouse Passport membership at $125 gives a family one year’s unlimited admission to not only The Children’s Playhouse but also 150 other children’s museums around the country.
