Taking Back Sunday, The All-American Rejects and Anberlin Perform at ASU November 19
Anberlin, The All-American Rejects and Taking Back Sunday will bring their brand of pop-punk music to ASU’s Holmes Convocation Center at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19. Ticket prices range from $25 to $35 for the general public and $20 to $25 for students, depending on seat location.
Opening the show is one of alternative rocks’ most dynamic bands, Anberlin. After six years of touring and four full-length albums, Anberlin is now a mainstay in the alternative rock scene. After touring with arena bands My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, Anberlin has taken a more mature look at songwriting as shown in their gentle harmonies one minute and raw, distortion-drenched rock the next.
International pop sensation The All-American Rejects is no strangers to Top 40 radio with their hits “Move Along,” “Dirty Little Secret” and “Gives You Hell.” This quartet from Oklahoma has toured with Hoobastank, had their music featured in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and were a large part of the Blink-182 Reunion Tour. With influences coming from The Cure, Green Day and Weezer, this alternative rock band has garnered fans from around the world.
Wrapping up the night is New York’s own Taking Back Sunday, a chart-topping alternative rock band. With three albums already hitting gold, appearances on late night TV and co-headlining the Warped Tour Package, Taking Back Sunday is known for the hit songs “Make Damn Sure” and “Cute Without the E.” The band features heavy vocal stylings, engaging pop hooks and high-octane, guitar-laden breakdowns—a little something for everybody.
Ski Beech and Appalachian Ski Mountain have partnered to offer half-price ski lift tickets on Saturday, November 21, with a ticket stub from the concert.
