The Riding Company Hosts Family Event November 28

The Riding Company, an equestrian center located near Banner Elk, will host a family event featuring horse riding, games, music, food and more on Saturday, November 28, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
The admission price of $20 per person includes lunch, a dance party, appetizers and all the activities. Kids ages 5 and under free.
From 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., guests can enjoy guided rides on The Riding Company’s 1,500 acres of equestrian trails. Attendees are invited to bring their own horses or rent one from the facility. Lunch will also be served from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Other activities include games and cowboy-themed contests.
From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., hitch a lift on the sing-along hayride. At 5:00 p.m., a DJ will start playing tunes for an evening dance party, and attendees will toast s’mores over an open fire.
Coolers are welcome, and soft drinks, water, lemonade, coffee, hot chocolate and iced tea will be available for purchase at the event.
To get to The Riding Company, take a left on Highway 194 at the stoplight in Banner Elk. Travel four miles to Sam Eller Road and turn right. Travel 1.8 miles and then turn right on Old Beech Mountain Road. Go two miles until you see the equestrian center on the right.
