Sugar Celebrates 40th
Sugar Mountain Resort started its 40th anniversary season in style as it opened for skiing and snowboarding last Friday, November 27, despite Mother Nature’s best efforts to thwart the celebration with warm weather. This week, all four local snowsports resorts are banking on a weekend of cold weather and plan to be open, making snow and serving customers—a significant and welcome change from the outlook at this time last week.
