Hope for Haiti
We’re All in this Together!

Those are the tag lines for T-shirts being sold locally to benefit the American Red Cross Haitian Disaster Relief Fund. Recent news of the earthquake in Haiti prompted Stuart Mangum, owner of M-Prints, to ask himself and his staff, “What if this were in Hickory or Asheville? What would we be doing for them?
“What we would be doing for them, we should be doing for [the people of Haiti],” Mangum said. “Everybody needs to help everybody. You can’t leave it up to somebody else; you’ve got to do something yourself.”
The shirts are available starting this Friday, January 22, at Footsloggers, Mast General Store and M-Prints in downtown Boone and at the original and annex locations of the Mast General Store in Valle Crucis. Shirts at all locations are $10 each, with $7.50 of each sale going directly to the Watauga County Chapter of the Red Cross. For more information, call M-Prints at 828-265-4929.
