Hope Massive’s Birthday Tribute to Bob Marley at Boone Saloon Saturday
Boone Saloon welcomes Hope Massive and DJ Fyah Babylon to the stage this Saturday, February 6, at 10:00 p.m. to celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday and pay tribute to the legend.
His music is known around the world. Bob Marley’s lyrics cry out to the love and lion inside the heart of all, and his music and life will be celebrated this Saturday, February 6, at Boone Saloon during Bob Marley’s Birthday Bash, hosted by Hope Massive and DJ Fyah Babylon.
Robert Nesta Marley was born on February 6, 1945, in Rhoden Hall, Jamaica. Bob, as most know him, was raised by his Jamaican mother, Cedella Marley. Bob’s father, Capt. Norval Marley, was a 50-year-old white quartermaster with the British West Indian Regiment and was not often around.
Boone Saloon welcomes Hope Massive and DJ Fyah Babylon to the stage this Saturday, February 6, at 10:00 p.m. to celebrate Marley’s birthday and pay tribute to the legend.
Hope Massive will cover many of the songs performed by Marley as its tribute, but will also be sharing its very own style of rock melded with world cultural influences.
In the very near future, the members of Hope Massive will take a break from performing as a band together and will instead focus on personal growth as musicians.
“This time of personal and musical growth is crucial to ensure that our fans continue to see our individual musical styles ebb and flow with their wants,” said Justin Butler of Hope Massive.
This is the last time the band has scheduled plans to perform together in the near future. With the fact it is Marley’s birthday, and the last performance from the band, Butler said, “Hope Massive hopes to see all our fans and the many fans of Marley come down and celebrate this night like the holiday it is for many. We intend to leave a lasting memory of what Hope Massive and Marley’s music is saying. Have fun, and enjoy this One Love you have been given.”
The first 50 people through the door will receive free merchandise.
