Novelist Ted Wojtasik Presents Reading at ASU February 25
Novelist Ted Wojtasik will read from his work on Thursday, February 25, at ASU’s Plemmons Student Union.Novelist Ted Wojtasik presents the craft talk “Transformed Autobiography” on Thursday, February 25, at 2:00 p.m. in Plemmons Student Union’s Linville Falls Room, followed by a reading at 7:30 p.m. in the student union’s Table Rock Room as part of the Hughlene Bostian Frank Visiting Writers Series at ASU.
Both presentations are free and open to the public. Books will be available for sales and signing.
Wojtasik is a visiting professor of English and creative writing at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg. He is the author of the novels No Strange Fire and Collage.
Wojtasik is the chair of the Gilbert-Chappell Distinguished Poets Series 2009-10, which is a competition among middle school, high school, college/university and adult poets in North Carolina for an opportunity to work with an established poet. He was the final judge for the John Foster West and Marian Coe Creative Writing Scholarship Competition at ASU in 2008.
