Kruger Brothers at Heritage Hall in Mountain City March 6
The Kruger Brothers, a North Carolina-based bluegrass band originally from Switzerland, perform at Mountain City’s Heritage Hall on Saturday, March 6.
Swiss bluegrass comes to Mountain City, Tenn., on Saturday, March 6, when the Kruger Brothers perform at Heritage Hall at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Jens (banjo) and Uwe Kruger (vocals, guitar) have performed professionally since 1973. Joined by Joel Landsberg on bass, the trio has appeared at numerous festivals throughout the United States, including MerleFest, the Wayne Henderson Music Festival and the Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival, performing with Willie Nelson, Bela Fleck, Doc Watson, Ricky Skaggs, Gillian Welch, Bill Monroe, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Vassar Clements and many others.
